At Ditchley, our fellows are at the heart of what we do. We bring together people from different industries and sectors to share ideas, make meaningful connections and effect change on the most challenging global issues.
Members of the 1580 Fellowship support The Ditchley Foundation’s mission to renew and redefine how democracies can lead and engage in an evolving world. The 1580 Fellowship is named for the year which Ditchley entered history, when Sir Henry Lee created the Ditchley Estate.
Why join?
Ditchley depends on donations and grants from visionary supporters, organisations, trusts and foundations while remaining bipartisan and independent of thought. If you are someone who thinks hard about the future and who wants to shape it, then please join our community of thoughtful doers by becoming a 1580 Fellow or offering financial support. In doing so, you will help Ditchley to navigate conflicts and help build the common ground and solutions we all need. Fellows will be evermore connected to Ditchley – the place and its purpose – by becoming members of our community of thoughtful doers. We introduce you to a network of leaders, invite you to take part in live and virtual discussions with global thinkers and welcome your ideas which contribute towards finding solutions.
The generosity of 1580 Fellows plays an important role in allowing us maintain vital independence. Membership of the 1580 Fellowship is £1580 per annum.
If you would like to discuss becoming a 1580 Fellow or have any queries, please contact Louise Turner, Development Assistant.
