The Ditchley Foundation is sad to record the death on 29 October 2018 of our former Director, Sir Nigel Broomfield.
Sir Nigel’s quiet charm belied a rigorous intellect which coupled with his broad experience were invaluable assets in his role at Ditchley as with the many other institutions which were fortunate enough to benefit from his interest and involvement. He was a much loved leader, remembered with great affection and warmth by those who worked at Ditchley during his tenure, but also by those who came to know him in the years that followed.
He will be much missed and our thoughts and sympathies are with Valerie and their family.
